The Standard of the German Shepherd Dog calls for "an outline of smooth curves rather than corners" (angles). German Shepherd Dog fanciers, meet the Cover Girl for that statement!! Wow, this is a bitch is curvy, feminine, and she screams TYPE. She has a look of nobility and an air of arrogance. Her temperament was perfect on my approach to her. Her head is correctly structured - good shape of skull, length of muzzle and strength in under jaw. She is perfectly proportioned - height to length. She has a nice prosternum and beautiful depth of chest. Her ribbing is well sprung and long and her loin is firm, broad and short. Her bone is oval-shaped and substantial without any tendency to being course. Her shoulder is well laid back and as close to ideal as I want. Her pasterns are strong and well-angled. Her Hindquarter angulation is very nice, her croup is a shade steep. Her hock is short. She single-tracks going away, with only a slight looseness in one hock. She comes at you perfectly. Her side gait is suspended, out-reaching and effortless. I understand she finished her Can. Championship on this day. I stayed to watch her win 2nd in a quality-filled Herding Group.

This bitch did not knock me over with presence when she walked in my ring. She is a bit "dry" and a little pale in tan for my liking.
Well, she certainly made me warm up to her in a hurry. She is feminine, correct in size, elegant and curvy.
She stood her ground on a loose lead as I approached her. Her head is nicely-structured and her ears are strong.
This bitch has a long, arched neck, good height at the withers and her back is strong.
The whole appearance is very typey, albeit a shade immature looking. She is all-business in motion.
Coming and going is very good and she takes a beautiful, suspended, outreaching stride.
Her feet stay close to the ground and because she is so correctly built, she is the picture of efficiency in motion.
First impressions be damned....this one deserves a good, long, second look! She is already a star and will only get better with age!!!!!
